South Harrow a Picadilly line yard used to be a yard for active trains and got hit regularly in the 80s & early 90s. This was always regarded as an easy yard to do but the Picadilly Line wasn't really a desirable line to have pieces running on compared to the Big or Little mets or the central line. This place was somewhere you went if you just wanted to bomb the fuck out of somewhere or if the Big met or Little Met yards where hot and you wanted somewhere easy just to get some yard photos of your piece. In the late 90s as the new rolling stock came in this place was used to house redundant trains from various lines.
